When receiving goods from your suppliers, it is important that you can quickly, easily, and effectively get the items registered in your financial system.

The Receive-Feature in Mobile WMS Supports:

  • preventing errors in the process of receiving items
  • batch and serial numbers, as well as expiration dates
  • all order types
  • documenting your receipts via pictures taken with the camera on the mobile device
  • an effective item receipt process through convenient filtering options
  • managing return orders

Receive in Mobile WMS Makes it Easy to Document When the Item Was Received and in Which Condition it Was Received

The Mobile WMS warehouse scanning solution supports both batch and serial numbers as well as expiration dates.

This ensures that you can quickly and effectively receive your deliveries and place them in predefined warehouse locations.

Should you prefer to place the item in a different location of your own choice, for instance, to optimize picking routes, the system also allows for that.

We support all types of orders, such as purchase orders, return orders, transfer orders, arrival journals, and production input journals.

The receive feature also supports the documentation of your receipt in the form of pictures taken with the camera on your mobile device. This feature is tremendously valuable, for instance, when the goods have been damaged during transport. It is possible to document damages on the entire shipment but also on the individual item.

Convenient Filtering in Mobile WMS Enables You to Locate a Specific Order When Receiving Items

In Mobile WMS, we have considered that you will often have a large number of receive orders to choose from. With the help of our convenient filtering feature, you can easily locate a specific order. With a single scan, you can automatically search among all released orders. The order will automatically appear on the scanner, and you are now ready to start receiving it.

If you prefer, it is also possible to filter on various warehouse locations as well as on expected delivery date. Additionally, we have made it possible to add more filtering options of your own choice. This is done via the financial system.

Easy Management of Return Orders in Mobile WMS

Mobile WMS also supports return orders. This could, for instance, be a customer returning a previously purchased item. When the item has been inspected and is ready to be received into your inventory, you simply open the return order on the scanner and register the item as being returned.

In case you are receiving an item with a barcode that still has not been registered in your financial system, the feature Register Barcode allows you to easily and quickly associate the barcode with an existing item.

Should you receive an item without a barcode, you can generate and print a new item label with the help of our Print Label feature. This is also very convenient if an item or pallet label is damaged upon delivery.

Prevent Errors in the Receive Process

In our view, the item receipt is one of the most essential processes in the warehouse. If errors occur in the receiving process, these are typically duplicated in the following processes. This applies both to the physical receipt of items but also in the case of manufacturing items.

With the help of the Mobile WMS warehouse scanning solution, you will prevent costly errors as the platform automatically validates and monitors all steps of the receiving process.
