During the process of upgrading their ERP system, Marburger Lederwaren discovered they needed a brand-new mobile warehouse management suggestion, one that could be linked directly with Business Central without disrupting daily operations or requiring complex custom development.
“From a technical perspective,” Alexander Denninghoff, Head of IT and Logistics at Marburger Lederwaren, explains, “the decisive factor was clearly the direct integration with Business Central. No additional servers, no third-party software.” He elaborates:
“We already had a mobile solution in our previous ERP system — a custom-built one — and we wanted to continue benefiting from its advantages. The alternative would have been manual picking using pen and paper, which simply isn’t feasible with around 100 orders per day, some containing more than 400 line items. "
After consulting with ERP partner anaptis and briefly evaluating the available alternatives on the market, Marburger Lederwaren decided to “run a test with Tasklet” and found that it worked “exceptionally well” with Business Central.
