Weleda wanted to use mobile scanners in its warehouse to track items more efficiently. In its search for a new WMS solution, the company was looking for a solution with functionality that would support its needs and ensure more efficient tracking within the warehouse.  
 
After implementing Tasklet Mobile WMS, Weleda is now capable of tracking received orders, as well as picked orders in the warehouse, adding significant value to its operations. Onno Rietveld, IT Manager at Weleda elaborates on why the company chose Tasklet:

Weleda considered many different providers of WMS solutions during their decision process. However, Tasklet Mobile WMS was the only solution that fully integrated with their existing Microsoft NAV ERP system, which made it the obvious choice for the company.

With the implementation of Tasklet Mobile WMS, Weleda has gone from a paper-based setup to a fully digitalized warehouse operations, where every item is scanned with mobile computers. Scanning every ingoing and outgoing item has resulted in a significantly reduced number of errors. With the use of LOT numbers in the warehouse, Weleda’s warehouse workers always know where to find items, whether they are receiving, picking or putting them away. 

“At Weleda, we work with LOT numbers, and with this scanning solution we have reduced the number of errors,” Onno Rietveld explains.

The goal Weleda had in mind when implementing Tasklet Mobile WMS was to increase effiency and improve accuracy. The results have been an easier workflow and optimized item tracking in the warehouse, resulting in time saved and a significantly reduced error rate. 

Along with this achievement and underlining the immense value that Weleda has experienced after implementing Tasklet’s solution, Onno Rietveld expects the return of investment to follow shortly: 

“I expect we will experience a fast ROI. The many hours we spent on ineffective work before implementing the Mobile WMS solution from Tasklet didn’t give us any value for our business.
